Starting with a local question
Budget proposals are scattered across district and agency PDFs, mixing totals with detailed lines. I wanted readers to start with a street or local concern and follow a result back to its source.
My contribution
I built the website and search, linked records across agencies and places, and connected each result to its source document and page.
The tool’s 50-district coverage is separate from my eight-office analytical scope as a budget-review subcommittee member.
What is planned near home, and what will it cost?
Suppose you want to know what improvements are planned for Song Wat 2. Start with the street name; you do not need a project title or budget code.

One searchable record is not necessarily one independent project. Parent and child lines can overlap, and some central projects are projected into several districts. Adding all search-result amounts together would therefore be misleading.

The 23 central-category files include an integrated creative-district overview; there are 22 central budget agencies. The verification date records this release summary, not a new audit of every PDF page. The live tool may publish a newer release after this date.
